ABOUT US

Hello. My name is Nong. That’s my photo on the certificate below. I decided to open Tulip Clinic in September 2016 because I truly believe that massage can improve your life. And so it has proved in these past few years – just read some of the TripAdvisor, Google or Facebook reviews that our customers have kindly written. It feels wonderful to solve a sciatica or back problem that someone has put up with for years. And we do.

Myself and all our therapists are hugely experienced in massage and fully qualified in both Thailand and the UK. We are a professionally run clinic and and employ only qualified and experienced therapists. We offer a range of massage types to best suit you and the benefits of massage are listed below. So we look forward to seeing you soon: why wait to make yourself feel a whole lot better?

What to expect

Consultation

This is a short, initial Q&A session, during which your therapist will establish your requirements based upon existing medical conditions, previous experience of massage, etc.

Treatment

This is performed in a spacious, ventilated, private consultation room. We use lightly scented oils and soft, calming oriental music to help you relax and enjoy your treatment. Depending upon the treatment you will be given a gown or towel to wear, and time alone to change at the start and end. Our client shower room is available at any time should you wish to use it.

The objectives of Thai massage

Our most popular treatment is Thai massage, which dates from over 2500 years ago. It is a combination of influences from Thai and Chinese medicine, and is steeped in Indian and Southeast Asian culture.
Thai massage treats the whole person, holistically. Holistic medicine is a form of healing that considers the whole person – body, mind, spirit, and emotions – in the quest for optimal health and wellness. According to the holistic medicine philosophy, one can achieve optimal health, the primary goal of holistic medicine practice, by gaining proper balance in life. Holistic medicine practitioners believe that the whole person is made up of interdependent parts and if one part is not working properly, all the other parts will be affected. In this way, if people have imbalances (physical, emotional, or spiritual) in their lives, it can negatively affect their overall health. Homeostasis, maintaining the body at optimum levels, is part of this
